Window Automation

Unlike traditional manual versions that use a crank handle, electric awning windows are powered by a concealed motor or actuator, allowing them to be opened and closed at the push of a button, via remote control, or even integrated into smart home systems.

They are useful for those hard-to-reach windows, banks of windows that need to operate together and/or buildings that seek the benefit of automated windows and natural ventilation.

Depending on your project requirements RMandCo are able offer a range of Chain Drive options, as well as Control Solutions for both Natural Ventilation & Smoke Control.

DIGITAL WINDOW SYSTEMS

Digital window automation systems have the capability to distinguish between windows that are automatically opened with purge CO2 and windows that have been manually opened by the users. This ensures mechanical systems will only be shut down when the system is in natural ventilation mode and not cycle on and off as a result of CO2 purging.

These systems also offer auto close on loss of power functionality to ensure windows are never stuck open during a power failure in the middle of a storm

They have a range of Control Solutions for Natural Ventilation & Smoke Control which incorporate failsafe battery backup and able to monitor many areas, including mains supply.

Systems can be integrated with BMS Smart Home systems allowing adjustments via smartphone or tablet and Sensors for automated adjustments based on weather conditions.

Electric awning windows utilize electric motors and geared systems to extend and retract awning chain fabrics.

Where Air Quality is a consideration, air quality sensors can monitor C02, Temperature or Humidity within a room and automatically open the windows to purge stale air as needed to maintain a healthy environment.
